Spend a morning celebrating the joy and energy of Torres Strait song and dance with Wyniss, a dynamic group of musicians and performers from Müa Island in the Torres Strait, supported by the Komet Dancers, a local group of Torres Strait performers, at the Townsville Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Centre.

The interactive hour-long performance by Wyniss has been specially choreographed for children and families and explores how games we learn as children teach us about our culture and respecting our heritage.

Wyniss is a professional performance group who are playing to sold out shows across Queensland schools in 2018. The members of Wyniss are:

DUJON NIUE vocals, dancer, guitar, ukulele, warup, thrumm
NORAH BAGIRI vocals, dancer, warup, thrumm
PEGGY MISI vocals, dancer, warup, thrumm
HANS AHWANG vocals, dancer, warup, thrumm
JIMMY LUFFMAN vocals, dancer, warup, thrumm

"We are excited to share our learning of Torres Strait traditions and skills through music, dance and children's games." Dujon Niue, Wyniss
