Early Learning

What’s in the box?

Bring your kindy group to the Museum for a led object-based learning adventure. Speak to our Learning Officer about what you are studying and we will choose appropriate objects to discover, such as historical toys, fossils or animal specimens. Students learn about the objects / theme, listen to or act out a story, and participate in a craft activity related to the Museum object.

This program is ideal for kindergartens, early learning centres and playgroups looking for an excursion opportunity into their local community.

Complement your led program with a self-led exploration of the Museum’s galleries in supervised small groups including visiting our specialist Early Childhood galleries Your Shipwreck Adventure and Enchanted Rainforest.
