Opening Hours

The Museum is open from 9.30am-5.00pm, 7 days a week. The Museum is not open on:

• Good Friday
• Christmas Day
• The morning of ANZAC Day (25 April) - Opens at 1pm

We recommend 2-3 hours to enjoy and explore the Museum’s six public galleries. Covered shoes must be worn to participate in the cannon firing activity.

The main entrance to the museum is on Flinders Street.

The Museum is housed on 3 levels:

• Ground Floor: Entrance/ Gift Shop
• First Level: Great Gallery; Pandora Gallery and Troppo! exhibition
• Mezannnine Floor: MindZone
• Second Level: Discover Tropical Queensland Gallery
